Observation details
Was perched on the fence when I came around the corner and flew off. I wasn't sure if it was near or not, so I played a hoot, and it responded immediately from the top of the telephone pole right by the road! I got out the bins and could see it's distinct outline with ear tufts and saw it hoot and got a recording. Franklin County lifer!
