Observation details

Rare and seems early too, over a month earlier than the one I found on the other side of the park last year. Greenish head, reddish coloration on wings, big pink bill, whitish eyering, white throat, thin dark streaking on chest and at least partly down flanks. Will review attempted photos but I don't think I got anything due to how skulky he was. I wonder if this bird is a migrant due to its lack of response to playback. The ones that seemed to overwinter last year were very vocal in response to flight call tapes. (29.6476964, -81.2652200) EDIT: upon review of digibin video I found a still of the bird where you can see some of the patterning on the back and what appears to be some of the underparts too! I have added it to my checklist but it is brutal!
