Observation details

Continuing rarity, just southeast of the dead-end cul-de-sac on the park's lawn's southern edge of the tall grass. Striking unique features separating from AMPI, including olive-toned back, vertical back stripes, strong white rear supercilium, bold black malar stripe, buffy tones particularly on cheek and breast. In flight when in circled around, clear outer tail feathers were only tipped white, vs. more prominent white outer tail feathers of AMPI. Classic pipit style tail bobbing when walking. Bird did not call during observation. Photos
