Observation details

Large blue jay with a black head and long, shaggy black crest. Alerted by voice so went outside to grab a recording... and watched a COHA soar off out of the same tree. Huh? Couldn't find the bird, but retreated to my deck and located maybe 15 feet away. Fairly well hidden, and I left it alone, but will add some token photos as well as the recording.
