Observation details

Female bird first found by Marian W; sallying from trees and shrubs along the western remnant track close to the gate. Making intermittent “zerp” calls. Much discussion over ID among the birders present. Deciding on Leaden over Satin on account of the strikingly pale undertail and the flat, blue-gray coloring of the head and back when observed up close (no hint of a glossy sheen across multiple viewing angles).
