Media notes
Soundscape style audio of American Crows. They have been roosting in the small patch of hardwoods just outside the southeast corner of Miller Reserve. The previous two mornings I observed them leaving the roost individually, then all at once, so I wanted to capture that sound this morning. I had previously placed the drop rig so was elsewhere in the reserve to observe. You hear a variety of calls and other AMCR sounds as some birds took flight while others remained. The main group took flight at about 4:38 in the recording and flew off towards the south. Unfortunately, there is some auto and river traffic audible in the background.
