Observation details

Continuing bird spotted this morning. Seen with many First seen up in the eucalyptus bobbing the tails a few times before disappearing. Refound then in the creek, and on the lawn as it foraged. Mostly observed on ground between pepper and carrot wood trees. Made two high pitched trills before it flew away from observers. A pipit with streaked back. The back appears a stale green in the dark but almost a jade green when seen in open light. Streaks on chest. Buff sides but a fades to a clean white by the center. Dark black dot on the cheeks. Overall very lovely bird. Lifer!
