Observation details

Lifer! Big chonky gray sparrow with rufous crown, dark gray and white facial stripes, and yellow-green on wings and tail. Will upload photos. Good looks and plenty of vocalizing throughout the morning. It first popped up on a bush near the chimney swift tower in the Pavilion area then a little later, lower in the bushes between the pavilion and overlook. Associating with black-throated, white-crowned, and rufous-crowned sparrows.
