Observation details
Found by Matt Sadowski around 2 pm. It started in Dusty Rhodes Park, then was flushed by dogs to perhaps Robb Field. Eventually it moved back to corner and was viewed from here, 32.75173° N, 117.23760° W as it stayed with pipits on slope and in grass behind apartment buildings and closer to Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Both in with flock of American Pipits. Darker back, with heavily contrasted striping on back, appears overall yellower and bolder in coloration as compared with AMPI. Orange/brown legs. Well photographed by most.
