Absolutely terrible pic but added for documentation.
Observation details
Continuing in patches of burned conifers. Saw and heard three individuals intermixed with several hairy woodpeckers along trail heading east towards Adelman Mine trail. All black upperparts seen well, distinctive “kyik” calls and rattle calls also heard fairly often.
