Observation details
Absolutely mind-boggling find the evening prior by Michael and Britta Runtz. Refound this morning just after 1000h by Mike Burrell and Colin Jones (after a few hours of searching!), associating closely with a flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers. Seen on two occasions by me, some time apart. Record photos (not great, but document that I saw a Grace's Warbler in the Old Airfield!!). Later in the afternoon (around 1545h) others watched it fly off, never to be seen again. A lot of Yellow-rumped Warblers seemed to be moving out on this day. First record for Algonquin Provincial Park, and the second record for Ontario and Canada. Strong contender for the best bird ever found in Algonquin Park!
