Observation details
Kingbird with smaller bill than expected (possible female TRKI), white throat, vivid orange-yellow flanks and yellow breast w/ slight wash, belly, and under tail coverts. Clear demarcation between paler cheek and crown, grey-green mantle; mostly rounded crown like Cassin's, high contrast primary wing panel with secondary panel, rounded tail corners vice angular, and the broad gentle margination (less distinct and shorter extension along length from tip) of P4 (but also P5 & P6) are not consistent with my expectations. First observed on power lines above neighborhood fence line along O street 50 yards prior and to the white 15 mph sign. Two Cassin's did interact and move the subject bird along power line and at one point flew and landed 5' away from subject bird; but no mobbing of the bird. Thanks to Pyle, Nunn, Cin-Ty for assisting in prudent classification.
