Observation details
Half of the hawks were on the calm eastern flank of the mountain perched in trees. The steep western side had strong wind where some hawks would kite on the updraft. A few were seen flying at high speeds not far above the ground from the western side to the calm eastern side. 20 adults and 2 immature
