Observation details
It’s what we came for. Almost gave up and in one flew and landed on rocks off tip of Meigs Point. Large tern with orange bill. Black legs. Silvery gray above with dark wing tips, white below. Bird was in non breeding plumage with black nape extending to posterior of eye.
