Observation details
I was walking along the forest age when I flushed a small quail-like bird from the leaves. He darted into the brush, so I ran to get my camera. After coming out a minute later that individual was gone...but the unmistakable "Bobwhite" call was coming from a spruce tree at the top of the hill. While walking in the direction of the call I came across two other individuals foraging in the leaves. I counted about 4 in total...they seem to be sticking together. I know these birds have been introduced up here, and there have been previous sightings of established individuals. Also, just a side note...they were very skittish and shy...so I assume they are not merely escaped livestock. All were seemingly healthy.
