Observation details
**MEGA! 2nd record for Ontario and Canada, even representing one of the few records for eastern North America. Found by Micheal and Britta Runtz the previous evening (October 16) and remarkably refound this morning at 1000hrs by Mike Burrell. First basic male (tentatively) flying from treetop to treetop with a large group of YRWA in the north side of the airfield. Small, energetic warbler with a glowing yellow beard and unibrow. Gray upperparts, two narrow white wingbars, fine dark streaking along flanks on whitish underparts. Once while foraging and once in flight, the bird gave a short high pitched ¨tink-like¨ vocalization.
