Observation details

At least 2 begging in neighbor's barn, which I assumed to be nestlings, and two adults flying around the outside. Based on behavior and vocalizations it seems like an active nest site. Adults flying around barn multiple times and also out over the adjacent fields in circular patterns. In flight: Bright white underneath, broad wings, short tail, and large head with white face; buoyant flight. Saw at least one adult fly in/out of barn, all the while the presumed nestlings calling. I'm not experienced with barn owls nesting cycle but it seems late to still have nestlings, but Birds of the World indicate they can have multiple broods so perhaps this is 2nd/3rd brood of the season.
