Observation details
Flight calling flyover which was first heard and then eventually seen as it came in from the SW. The bird drifted well out to the east (remained just within earshot), came back and directly overhead (of myself and the Killdeer flock), then headed NW both out of sight and finally audible range. I was surprised it didn’t drop into the killdeer flock but maybe it came back after I left. Various “pleedle” type calls as it flew around, clearly a Pluvialis plover visually, plain and uniform appearing underwings/wingpits, dark rump; appeared to be a juvenile; photos later
