Observation details

Deep, gravelly call heard repeatedly in the distance to the east, heard from within Blair preserve but the raven was in Strouds Run State Park. On the recording, it can be heard at 8-10 seconds, 13-15, 17.5-19.5, 22-24, and 28.5-30 seconds. I heard it periodically for several minutes more after this recording, so it was apparently either perched or circling, not just flying through, as all my previous raven reports from the Athens area have been.
