Observation details

Continuing on east side of the boat ramp. Finally connected with this species and had a prolonged, 20 min encounter with unsolicited calling and singing. Very secretive wren. About the size of CAWR with dark line above a creamy eyebrow. Tan below with paler throat. Dark black barring on brown tail, held vertical. Brown back, black cape with very fine white streaking. Observed foraging and preening, though very obscured views. Flew to the west side of boat ramp and could not be relocated when others arrived.
