Observation details

Bird first suspected when back-lit views showed fanned wings and tail. We then noted the Pine Siskin-like slurred 'schee' call. We then obtained excellent views of the bird foraging in eucalyptus and olive trees. Warbler with notably long tail. Black breast, throat and upperparts. White crescent on lower rear of eye.
