Observation details
The 2 Lapland Longspurs have spent the day on the hillside above the scopes and toward Point Ruston. About 6-10’ off trail between scopes and first bench. Be patient - they’re there. Beautiful buffy and brown streaked creepers with dark auricular patches with black at the back corners, pink bill. One bird had buffy breast band and the other streaked black remains of a black breast band.
