Observation details

A fresh juvenile with no hint of gold. Perhaps 75% the size of a BBP. Bold white supercilium and crown capped with darker pale spotted brown. dark breast and peculiar neck ring which none of the BBP’s shared..also small bill and long primary projection….my cell phone battery died before a could get a picture of this field mark. Also the bir seemed to prefer the company of Dunlin and did not seem to associate with the BBP. After a circling Bald Eagle disturbed the shorebirds I could not relocate it.
