Observation details
Continuing Catharus thrush originally found by The Garrigus. Patience and time yielded great looks at this at times shy but other times very accommodating drab bird, mostly a cold muted brown-gray all over except the chest and neck. Familiar spotting on the chest. Noticed in the field and shown in one of my images, slight buff color on the spotting below the neck and upper breast. Bird was also vocalizing. Sound was similar to Hermit Thrush churtt call but much quieter and farty.
