Horrible distant photo is dreadful weather conditions
Observation details
Adult male found late the previous evening. Awful weather this AM, but still went to see the bird. A gorgeous adult male watched perched atop a bush and flying down to the ground from time to time. Chestnut-red cap and tail, black mask, brownish back and wings with white spot at base of primaries and quite white underparts. Lovely bird.
