Observation details

Continuing bird with chocolatey brown up body, white belly, pinkish-yellow face and bill, and big pale yellow feet. First seen from bridge, on both sides of the river. Cell phone photos add: more distant-looking photo is cellphone through a scope from the bridge. Second photo is cellphone through binoculars from a kayak. After a while, it flew downstream, and I headed that way by kayak to see where it went. Relocated about 1.5mi downstream of the bridge, where it was diving into the water with huge splashes. It then flew back toward the bridge.
