Observation details

A fellow birder reached out to me and said that a photo I submitted of a Red-necked Phalarope might be a Red Phalarope. After reviewing it I agree with him. This bird has the black flag behind the eye similar to the RNPH but it has an unstreaked gray back and the bill is thicker.
