Media notes

Song heard for 2-3 minutes from 10.07 a.m., low from thick vegetation, but bird not seen. Initially mistaken it for the garnet pitta. The song was rather monotonous hence more like a Malaysian rail babbler's song. Garnet pitta's song on the other hand, has an upward inflection at the end. In addition, the song is of higher frequency (closer to 2 kHz) - rather matched to that of the Malaysian rail babbler. Garnet pitta's song is closer to 1.5 kHz.
