Observation details

Fantastic display of common nighthawks swooping around the meadow right after the bridge underpass on the Provo River trail, south of the new delta gateway Park. I counted 11 distinct nighthawks, my wife counted at least 12. Settling with the more conservative count. They were swooping and hunting in all directions and overhead. Unmistakable white line on the wings was very visible along with wing shape and hunting behavior made this a clear find.
