Observation details

A rather dark chestnut definitive alternate plumage male. At first glance seemed to possibly have some Eurasian Wigeon genes, but upon researching seems to be within range for pure American. Head pattern especially leans more American: larger dark eye patch, darker nape, paler cheek.
