https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/nf.birds/cThX7S5LUBg | Uploaded Feb 9, 2017 by Alvan Buckley A juvenile Long-tailed Jaeger was feeding on the barrens at The Drook on the Cape Race Road today (Thursday). It was extremely tame, at one point walking towards us to within five feet as it fed on crowberries. It was also eating insects on the road itself. Bruce Mactavish and I photographed and observed it for over an hour. It was still present when we left. The only vagrants observed on our Southern Shore trip were a Chestnut-sided Warbler and a single Red-eyed Vireo, both on the Bear Cove Point Road. Also of note was a single Bohemian Waxwing perched on the wires near Bear Cove. Ken Knowles
