Observation details

1 immature flew southwest at 7.30. A very big Booby, dark brownish above with paler wing coverts. Pale on body below. On underwing pale bordered dark including hand. Dark brownish hood, but with a wide pale collar, and the hood did not extend down on the breast. The observer has experience from several species of Boobies (and Albatrosses). Digiscoped record shots showing it’s a Booby attached. Brown Booby ruled out on collar and pale on hand of underwing.
