The throat looks to be pretty white as well as the stomach appears to have more white feathers than I would expect for a PHVI. The lighting, which I have lifted shadows on to get a more even lighting effect, I believe is still making it look darker than it appeared in the field. I was not struck by any heavily contrasting facial features.
Observation details
Late migrants. Surprisingly the most abundant vireo. More drab above than REVI, white throats with yellow washed flanks. Poor photos.
