Observation details
Juvenile found by Michelle Hamilton earlier. Distinguished from BBPL by overall slender shape, contrasting white supercilium, thin bill, lack of large clean white undertail and lack of black on the underwing (seen in flight). Distinguished from PAGP by primaries beyond tertials and long primary projection past the tail (long wings) as well as a duller black cheek patch and duller more grayish colour on face and chest. PAGP is also quite long in the leg. This is hard to determine but I just got back from the coast where I saw PAGP and the shorter leg length of this AMGP is noticeable to me anyway. Photo.
