Observation details
Quite possibly the hummer found by Kyle Matera last year. Susan Young found it in the same location of Seacrest Scrub - thank you! In my observation bird was perched on pine tree in front of that famous Firebush. Hummer with rufous flanks, tail rufous, black, green with white-tipped outer tail feathers. Carl Edwards got some great tail shots and bird is confirmed as a Rufous Hummingbird and not an almost identical Allen's Hummingbird.
