Observation details
Flushed by the peregrine before I could get a photo. First ID’d by more “swimmy” behavior than other similar-sized shorebirds. Needly (but not as needly ads Wilson’s) black bill. Told from Wilson’s by black eye mask and black stripe on back of neck. Saw at the beginning of the dogleg near the cedar trees between markers 13 and 14.
