Observation details
Third day present for this rarity refound by Elizabeth Crouthamel. Mostly sitting on beach, feeding occasionally, flushing nervously from passing strollers. Full adult plumage with black head and white eye arcs, dark mantle, white subterminal wing stripe, black legs, and a faint but charming pink flush ventrally.
