CZ 03/06/2004.[I believe the bird singing in Part 1 of this recording is instead Thryomanes bewickii. Part 2 has agitated songs and twittering that presumably represent the agonistic calls described in BNA. Part 3 has one song of the Amphispiza. Part 4 has a decapitated song and twittering. Part 5 has only agonistic twittering. Parts 6, 7, and 8 (separated by brief voice announcements) have what sound like agitated songs (with an odd chatter included), possibly given in response to tape playback or following an agressive interaction? Quality added 2-3, 2 (tape hiss and much rumble in the last part; BEST part is between 2:43 and 3:30) - CAM - 9 February 2005].
