Observation details

3 fall in a row that I have detected an Olive-sided on my block (9/8/24 & 8/25/23). Larger flycatcher perched high on exposed tree top. Heard "pip pip pip" at first, making me think it wasn't an Eastern-Wood Pewee (wasn't familiar with the call). Upon grabbing my bins/camera, the large head with crest was apparent and the general proportions didn't fit for Pewee. Finally, got better looks, showing the dark olive sides and large beak.
