Observation details
They are so common this year! I kept encountering them, and a single "spish" turned up three individuals around a honeysuckle/buckthorn/sumac/prickly ash edge. It seems as though more of the Magnolia warblers are now adult male birds with bolder yellow, darker flank streaking and very light traces of a few black, breeding plumage feathers around the face.
