Observation details

Merlin picked up CONW in the spot previously reported by Alex Ulrich, however I noticed that the two times it picked it up, it also picked up DOWO at the same instance. There was certainly a DOWO that was calling (and picked up in merlin several other times without CONW), but there was never and instance of CONW being picked up on it’s own. Without Merlin recording, I heard a chip note that I thought was almost certainly CONW, but I have never seen or heard one before which is what prompted my recording. Since I have never heard one before and I am very skeptical of Merlin, I’m going to leave that off my list as I can’t be sure what I was really hearing since I never got a visual. If anyone else tries for this bird I would urge you not to ID based on what Merlin says and use your own judgement instead. I'm attaching recording that Merlin did NOT ID at all. These were the chip notes I felt could be CONW. All chip notes IDed by Merlin were more ambiguous to me.
