Observation details
On a previous outing a friend and I thought we were seeing Green Herons fly by. At some point I realized that wasn't quite right – I think we were seeing Least Bitterns. I went out again on this day, 6-30-22, to confirm and managed to photograph one that landed on some vegetation in the distance.
