Observation details
Continuing rarity found by Lisa Ruby on Friday, September 12th. A short tailed, dark streaked warbler with a wide white supercilium bobbing its tail and foraging in the shallow waters of the concrete channel between Aubrey Park and Midland Road about here: 32.973229, -117.036234. Only heard it vocalizing when it would fly in or out of the channel, a harsh low chip, more like a Common Yellowthroat than a Northern Waterthrush to my ear. [EM]
