Observation details

studied in scope, and photographed (Rusty M., Pete B. - will upload). Foraging slowly (plover style) on beach within 5 meters of water, reluctant to fly. Neatly streaked on underparts across breast to chin (not belly). In flight, dark armpits and completely white rump.
