Observation details

Beautiful bird, so grateful I got to see them. Clem, Will, and Paul (I think were their names) invited me to use their scopes to see the bird. It was hanging around with a Dunlin and they both flew away together for about 20 meters before they landed about 10 meters apart from each other before continuing to wade around. Clem posted beautiful a photo on eBird, my iPhone pictures are quite blurry in comparison ;) Amazing opportunity I will never take for granted and a great time to connect with some local birders who were super friendly (contrary to popular stereotype that us birders are solitary creatures). It was so great meeting them and getting to share a piece of history with them! #newliferunlocked
