Observation details
Flagged rare. Foraging together along near shore of mudflats south of parking lot. Rounded head, short pointed bill, scaly back pattern, and buff color on head and breast seen well through scope for most of the observation period. Seen in flight together with the SAND as well. Poor scope photos obtained.
