Observation details
Three seen, have terrible photos of two in the chokecherries. Easy to remember these beautiful adult black-and-white thrushes. From the ABRC report 2005-2009: AZTEC THRUSH Ridgwayia pinicola ... up to nine were in Madera Canyon, SCR, first reported 24 Jul 2006, with at least one seen through 6 Sep (GL, TSt, MP, BMs; ph.AT; ph. MR; ph. DN)... The concentration of records in 2006 after a long lull emphasizes the Aztec Thrush’s irruptiveness in Arizona.
