Observation details

A wonderful continuing rarity found earlier by JV. First heard singing steady rich “churee churee churee churee” across the street, then flew over the parking area. Yellow underparts from throat to undertail, olive green upperparts from head to back and tail, black mask extending into sides of breast with dark auricular area, yellow spectacles. It interacted with another small bird, perhaps an ovenbird, and call notes also heard. Photos and sound recording.
