Observation details

Found by and first reported to eBird by Linda Hamilton on Sept 8th. I only learned of the bird at the end of the day n the 8th, which was hugely disappointing since I visited the park late in the day and had no idea the bird was there! I couldn't visit the park on the 9th, but was sure to stop early this morning on my way to work. I could see the bird from my car! A large dark shorebird with large downcurved bill. Photos (not great thanks to the fog). A lifer that I nearly missed.
