Observation details
Awesome! Lovely warbler with extensive yellow on the breast, some streaking on the side and darker cheeks. In a mixed flock with chickadees, titmice, vireos and a redstart. Brief views at first made me think it was a bright Black-throated Green Warbler but had me wondering if it could be Townsend's. Tracked it down and confirmed it was indeed a Townsend's. Andrew and Franklin came soon afterward but we couldn't refind it. First county record and the second farthest east record for Kansas on eBird.
